Hi, I’m Dan! I’m a multi-media producer based out of San Francisco.

Product Videos

During my time working for a tech startup, product videos were really my bread and butter. These could range greatly—some heavily rely on screen grabs from the product, while others feature product graphics that were created from scratch and animated by myself. Some product videos did not feature any actual shots of the product but instead rely on the human element. During my time at Linqia, product videos meant something a little different - showcasing campaign content and results or creating exciting sizzles for new product offerings.

Linqia’s Overview Video

This video is a bird’s eye look at Linqia, my current company, showing off both their expertise and their product, Resonate.

Storyboarded, edited and animated single-handedly (2024).

Drift’s Vision Video

Unlike the typical product video, this one barely shows off the product. Instead, it focuses on the human element. This looking-forward-type video was created for intro hype at an event but also used on social media.

Produced, shot, directed, edited and animated (2023).

Linqia’s IRL Offering

I created a number of product offering sizzles at Linqia, with the goal of not only explaining our new offerings but also making them look exciting. This one was created for “IRL”, our offering around in person events and activations.

Co-writer; storyboarded, edited and animated single-handedly (2025).

Drift’s Spotify Ad

This video was originally only intended to be an an audio piece for Spotify but was later repurposed as a hype video to help relaunch our site. It features both stock footage and b-roll that I shot in the Boston and SF offices.

Co-writer. Storyboarded, shot, edited and animated single-handedly (2021).

Miralax Case Study Video

I’ve created a number of case studies for Linqia, but this one is my favortie. This was created to highlight our campaign results with our clients, Miralax.

Co-writer; storyboarded, edited and animated single-handedly (2025).

Episodes from Series

In addition to the one-off videos above, I also worked on a few video series to provide better insight and tips into using the Drift product. The first video below is a commercial style product video with actors that I co-produced and animated (2022). The third uses no product shots, but instead uses green screen, emojis and animation to help convey a message and keep audience attention (2020). The fourth is a standard customer case study (2022).

CTV Ads

Working at Linqia, I get to help shape creator content into a variety of market ready ads. CTV ads are quick 15-30 second videos that get top visibility, playing on streaming channels like Amazon Prime, Hulu and more. In addition to working closely with the brands to create these ads, we would also get incredibly valuable insights back on the ads’ performance in the form of Kantar studies and CreativeX gradings. This greatly shaped the way I think about creating all content. Here are a few of my favorite examples from some of our biggest brands.

Too Good & Co. Creamer

This spot was created to help launch a new product line and was called “a best in class example” for creator-led ads by our clients at Dannon.

Storyboarded, edited and animated single-handedly. (2026)

Afrin Vapor Burst

Did you know it is very difficult to make a fun video about a nose spray? The client ended up liking this CTV so much we did a second for their Afrin Saline Nasal spray product as well.

Storyboarded, edited and animated single-handedly (2025).

One A Day: Age Factor

The first CTV I did for Linqia was for the launch of a new Bayer Product, One A Day: Age Factor.

Co-Storyboarded; edited and animated single-handedly (2024).

Social Videos & Design

Social Videos were a huge part of my responsibility at Linqia and Drift. These videos were used across LinkedIn, Youtube, Instagram, X, Facebook and TikTok.

Culture Creators

One of Linqia’s reccuring social segments was a series called Culture Creators, which would feature interviews with prominent leaders in the creator economy. I created full versions of these interviews as well as cut downs for use across social media.

A Year-in-Review

Being a “year-in-review” type video, this shows off a lot of the brand work my team and I worked on at Drift. This made a big splash on social as many from the company reshared on their LinkedIns.

Edited and Animated single-handedly (2022)

Meet the Team

I worked closely with Drift’s HR and brand marketing team to create a number of hiring videos. This is one video from a series titled “Meet the Team”.

Storyboarded, directed, shot, edited, and animated single-handedly (2021)

Creator Economy Live

Linqia partnered with a podcast called Creator Economy Live. I created social clips for some episodes, but also helped to create style and editing guidelines for external editors so that we could produce these clips at scale.

Edited and Animated single-handedly (2025)

Skydiving for the Partners

One of my first weeks at Drift, a colleague from the partner team asked me if I wanted to go skydiving and make a video about it for our partner program. The result was a vlog-style video that ended up being a huge hit on social media and on the site. In addition, it was one of my favorite experiences at the company.

Storyboarded, directed, shot, edited, animated single-handedly (2018)

More Culture Videos

I created quite a few hiring videos at Drift. Here are a few more that I directed, shot, edited and animated single-handedly:

Motion & Design for Social

I’ve created a lot of designs and simple motion graphics for social media. See more examples in the podcast section.

Virtual Events

At Drift, I was in charge of video production for their virtual event series called RevGrowth. These events would run as often as once a quarter and were comprised of virtual presentations recorded from speakers in the B2B SaaS space and beyond. I was responsible for buying and shipping budget friendly film-at-home kits for the speakers, scheduling recording times, walking them through recording processes, editing these presentations, creating and adding in animated assets, coordinating with virtual event hosting platforms (like On24 & Goldcast), and creating social media hype videos for the event. At Linqia, I further honed these skills creating eye catching social clips for our numerous in person activations.

The Event Hype Video

Here is an example of the hype videos I would create for our virtual events. These would be used on social media to drive registration, but also would be used on the day of the event to kick it all off.

Co-writer. Storyboarded and animated single-handedly (2022).

Las Vegas Sphere Takeover

The mission was to stop people in their scroll by making it look like Linqia had taken over the Las Vegas Sphere. We actually did get a few people to ask if we actually did this, but it was done entirely in After Effects.

Animated single-handedly (2024).

Repurposing Footage for Social

Here is a look at the type of treatment I would create for social clips after the event. These type of videos were used primarily to drive more people to watch the event recordings, but were also great for social engagement. This clip was created for Nextiva.

Edited and animated single-handedly (2023).

More Virtual Event Hype Videos

I got to do a lot of these, but had a lot of fun doing it! Unlike the one above, these feature voice-overs that I recorded with colleagues from Drift. These were also storyboarded, recorded and animated single-handedly.

Photography

During my time at Drift, I spearheaded photography for the entire company. A large part of this responsibility was company headshots, which included scheduling, lighting, photoing and editing photos for hundreds of employees. I’ve even had these headshots published in a number of large publications including the Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, and AdWeek. In addition to headshots, I would also take in-office photos for our blog and do event photography at our in-person events.

Podcasts

During my time at Drift, I managed production on as many as 5 podcasts at a single time. I had to create and operate podcast setups both in-studio with professional equipment and—more challengingly—remotely, talking the hosts through the process with at-home equipment. In addition to producing full length video and audio versions of the podcast, I would also create thumbnails, animate intros/outros, and produce multiple social clips per episode for the hosts and Drift to share on social media.

In-Studio (In-Office) Podcasts

Some examples of the studios I helped set-up and manage. These were shot and edited single-handedly:

At-Home Setups

With these podcsats, I would talk our hosts through a video setup remotely in order to create video that looked more polished that the average zoom call. I was also charged with researching and purchasing camera kits for these:

Podcast Designs for Social

In addition to creating social clips for the podcasts, I would also record their views across our channels to track how they each would perform. Because of this, I experimented with many different formats and designs to see what would work best:
